Foundation for Mothers: Why are mothers and women compressing their dreams?

Foundation for Mothers

It is sad to know that women have to leave their dreams behind and accept the foundation given by society. There are several reasons behind this situation. India is a male-dominated country where women and the Foundation for Mothers do not have sufficient freedom to pursue their desires. In this article, we will explore the various factors contributing to this issue.

Why does the Foundation for Mothers want to make a change?

women and mothers struggle with inequality, lack of opportunities, and mental weakness. Even a single day can feel like a burden for them. As an NGO, we aim to tackle these issues and provide support for our mothers and sisters in society.

Why, even in the 21st century, are women not getting equal rights?

Do we live in the 21st century? Yes. Does everyone believe that women and men are equal? Absolutely not. This begs the question: Should everyone believe that women and men are equal? Yes, they absolutely should. Now, I’m sure many of you have wondered why, even in the 21st century, women are not receiving equal treatment as men.

As you’re aware, when a man chooses to stay at home and take care of the kids and home, society often taunts the woman for this and questions her upbringing. On the other hand, when a woman chooses to stay at home and do dishes and cleaning, society never taunts the man or questions his upbringing. This is not equality!

It’s all a matter of mindset, and we need to think about that.

What problems are women and mothers facing?

  • Violence against women and single mothers
  • Harassment
  • Child marriage
  • Education
  • Gender equality
  • Violence against women and single mothers has been a persistent and serious issue for centuries, as women in the past had no support or resources to escape such situations. Unfortunately, even in this century, the majority of women continue to be victims of violence.
  • Harassment, including sexual harassment, is still a prevalent issue in the workplace. The Institute for Women’s Policy Research reports that more than 8 out of 10 women experience workplace harassment from a male in a position of authority at some point in their lives. Harassment can cause serious mental and physical health problems.
  • Child marriage is a prevalent practice in rural parts of India. Young girls are often married off at a very early age. This is a concerning issue that needs to be addressed.
  • Education is an essential element for every individual in the world. Unfortunately, many women and adult girls lack this facility In many male-dominated communities, only boys are allowed to go to school and receive an education. Girls and women are often confined to household chores as they are considered to be unfit for education.
  • Gender equality is a major issue for all women and mothers in our society. Women often lack opportunities to prove themselves, including the right to education, travel, and choose their own occupations.

What can we do to stop these issues?

The first thing to do is remove our orthodox mentality and accept the fact that women are equally capable of performing tasks that men can do. We must support them in every sector, including education, health, empowerment, opportunities, and employment.

It is essential to treat women with respect. We should always stand up for them in any situation.

The Foundation for Mothers is a light in the darkness.

The Foundation for Mothers is addressing these issues and tackling them. Our NGO empowers less fortunate women and abandoned mothers by providing education and skill training for self-sufficiency.

We provide regular medical facilities and healthy meals to care for the health and well-being of mothers and women in need.

Conclusion

As an NGO, we strive to uplift mothers and women. We provide them with the basic necessities and develop them into self-reliant women who can take care of themselves and their families. Our ultimate goal is to empower these women and help them lead a better life.
